Catalyst Technology II: Fuel Cells and Bio Fuels
In this issue, we cover recent developments relating to Catalyst Technology that have evolved since our last newsletter on this topic in 2008. We will again focus on the most active areas of research, those being Biofuels, Fuel Cells and other industrial or energy related uses. The advances in this field are producing new catalysts and processes for use in developing less expensive and more efficient fuel cells and diesel fuels; and for creating technologies that use biomass to produce alternative fuel sources to fossil fuels. We also cover the latest developments in other industrial applications such as new catalysts for fuel, battery and biodiesel production, as well as breakthroughs in developing entirely novel catalysts and processes for analyzing catalyst properties and molecular behavior.
